goals
The purpose of the Master's program is to create an enclave for applied professional development by training high-level professionals, in order to strengthen the generation of advanced and specialized knowledge in child and adolescent mental health.
The distinguishing feature of the proposal is its comprehensive and multidisciplinary approach to child and adolescent mental health, the ethical and bioethical orientation of the actions, and the development of advanced professional skills and competencies that allow us to contribute to addressing regional and national challenges in this area.
Applicant Profile
Psychologists, social workers, educators, doctors, nurses, other health or social science professionals (degrees of at least eight semesters).
Entry Profile
The entry profile for the Master's Program in Child and Adolescent Mental Health is as follows:
1. Bachelor's degree in a discipline related to Child and Adolescent Mental Health or higher academic degree obtained in a discipline related to Child and Adolescent Mental Health.
2 With knowledge of research methodology, specifically related to the development of theoretical and methodological designs for quantitative and qualitative research at the undergraduate level.
3 High interest related to the well-being of children and young people.
4 High interest in applied research in Child and Adolescent Mental Health.
5 With expectations of career advancement linked to participation in organizations that focus their work on Child and Adolescent Mental Health, multidisciplinary work teams and programs designed to have an impact on communities.
6 With clarity regarding the personal strategy that will allow the development of the Program within the planned time (2 years).
7 With a distinguished and consistent academic or professional track record, in accordance with the recommendations received.

The graduate profile for this specialization should include disciplinary skills that enable them to analyze factors, variables, and dimensions that influence child and adolescent mental health. Furthermore, they will be able to design, implement, and evaluate intervention programs in this area, from a perspective that considers multidisciplinary work within healthcare settings, especially at the primary care level.
They will also be able to formulate and implement child and adolescent mental health intervention projects, applying promotion and prevention strategies. All of this will take place within a framework that considers and safeguards the ethical and bioethical aspects of the interventions.
Mention Educational Context:
The graduate profile for this specialization should include disciplinary skills that enable them to analyze factors, variables, and dimensions that influence child and adolescent mental health in educational contexts. Furthermore, they will be able to design, implement, and evaluate intervention programs in this area, using a multidisciplinary approach in educational settings (schools, academies, and other educational communities).
Likewise, they will be able to formulate and implement intervention projects, applying promotion and prevention strategies in child and adolescent mental health related to educational contexts, considering the ethical and bioethical safeguards of the interventions.
