goals
To form advanced human capital of excellence, with solid and updated conceptual and methodological principles that allow to develop research in psychology autonomously, and thus provide solutions to local and national problems through the generation of new scientific knowledge linking their contributions to the field of health and of Education.
Applicant Profile
The applicant for the Doctorate in Psychology program must have a Bachelor's and / or Master's degree to apply for the Doctorate Program. Although the desirable undergraduate training is Psychology, applicants from related careers (Social Sciences, Education and Health) will be accepted, after evaluation by the academic staff.
Graduate profile
The training received in the program is based on the delivery of solid scientific foundations, inspired by Christian humanist principles, and will allow the graduate to become an advanced human resource, allowing them to develop capacities to: 1. Prepare exhaustive and updated reviews of the theoretical and empirical evidence existing. 2. Relate problems and demands of the regional and / or national environment to formulate designs that respond to these needs. 3. Design both basic and applied research projects in the area of psychological science, respond to or propose intervention strategies. 4. Execute the proposed research with the greatest methodological and ethical rigor. 5. Communicate the knowledge generated to the scientific community through participation in conferences, seminars and article publications. With the above, the graduate will acquire the necessary skills that will allow him / her to carry out research individually or by integrating multidisciplinary teams, contributing to scientific discussion and generating responses to disciplinary problems arising from the demands of the environment according to the value seal- Christian of our institution.
