General objective:
- TRAIN EXPERT RESEARCHERS IN ENERGY SOLUTIONS, OF MULTI AND INTERDISCIPLINARY ORIENTATION, TRAINED TO DO ADVANCED NIEVL RESEARCH, WITH A STRONG ORIENTATION TO THE RESOLUTION OF PROBLEMS. THE PROGRAM DELIVERS THE METHODS AND TOOLS NEEDED TO CARRY OUT A COMPREHENSIVE ANALYSIS OF ENERGY SYSTEMS.
Specific objectives:
- Training of human resources experts in energy solutions and capable of carrying out advanced level research. .
- To be an international quality program that is a benchmark for the country in the areas of transformation and efficient and sustainable use of energy.

According to the objectives of the Program, graduates are expected to acquire skills in different areas:
- Gain experience in energy solutions
- Develop the capacities derived from a multi and interdisciplinary training
- Incorporate the necessary knowledge to do research, with an orientation to industry problems
- Provide innovation in the development of solutions to problems in the productive sector
- Acquire methods and tools that train them for comprehensive (systemic) analysis of energy systems
