goals

a) Promote Process Engineering at the national level as an interdisciplinary area of Engineering Sciences.
b) To train graduates who contribute to the scientific-technological development of Process Engineering, both in the research-academic field, and in the field of the productive sector.
c) Contribute to the training of researchers in the area of Process Engineering to strengthen research teams in Engineering Sciences, or teams of
multidisciplinary research that requires incorporation into this discipline.
d) Promote research projects that generate contributions to the knowledge of Engineering Sciences in the area of Process Engineering.

Applicant Profile

a) Be in possession of a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering Sciences in any specialty related to Process Engineering. In the latter case, the Doctoral Program Committee will review the applicant's academic training to determine if he can satisfactorily comply with the Work Plan necessary for his doctoral training.
b) Verify a level of English oriented to literacy, which will be evidenced by means of a document that endorses training in English during their academic training or an accreditation issued by specialized centers or institutions.

Graduate profile

a) Generate innovative solutions and proposals to specific engineering problems associated with Process Engineering, responsibly contributing to the strengthening of research and technological development in the area.
b) Develop, coordinate, and participate in research projects both in the area of Process Engineering as part of Engineering Sciences, as well as inter and multidisciplinary projects in a collaborative and / or autonomous way.
c) Model, design, simulate, and optimize processes and systems linked to the area of Process Engineering in a rigorous way.
d) Disseminate orally and in writing the knowledge generated, truthfully and honestly through the national and international scientific means of dissemination.
