Las Pruebas de Selección Universitaria se rendirán los días 6 y 7 de enero de 2020 y sus resultados se publicarán el martes 28 de enero. A partir de ese día y hasta el 31 de enero será la etapa de postulaciones, mientras que las matrículas se concretarán durante la primera quincena de marzo de 2020.
After the modifications to the date of delivery of the University Selection Tests (PSU), due to the current social and political situation of the country, the Council of Rectors of Chilean Universities (CRUCH) confirmed the new calendar of the Admission Process 2020 .
The dates were jointly defined by the CRUCH, the Ministry of Education and the Department of Evaluation, Measurement and Educational Registration (DEMRE) of the University of Chile, so that the students can take the tests in a context of greater tranquility. and have the possibility of traveling to the places of surrender chosen by them without difficulties.
Likewise, this new schedule adjusts the application, selection and enrollment stages with the requirements of the universities, reconciling the deadlines of their academic calendars with the security and confidence with which the results of the admission process must be reviewed and delivered.
As announced during November, on Monday, January 6, the PSU of Language and Communication will be given, at 9:00 a.m., and the elective test of Sciences, from 14:30. On Tuesday, January 7, it will be the turn of the PSU of Mathematics (9.00 am) and the elective test of History, Geography and Social Sciences (2.30 pm).
Posteriormente, el martes 28 de enero, a las 08.00 horas, se publicarán los resultados de las PSU en el Portal del Postulante (https://psu.demre.cl/). Ese mismo día martes 28 de enero, desde las 09.00 horas, se iniciará la etapa de postulaciones a las carreras que ofrecen las 41 universidades que integran el Sistema Único de Admisión (SUA). Este proceso se extenderá hasta las 18.00 horas del viernes 31 de enero.
Los resultados de postulaciones y selección de estudiantes se conocerán el 2 de marzo, en el Portal del Postulante y en los sitios web de las instituciones adscritas al SUA. En tanto, desde el 3 al 5 de marzo se desarrollará la primera etapa de la matrícula y la segunda se desarrollará entre el 6 y el 12 de marzo; mientras que el periodo de retracto se extenderá entre el 3 y el 12 de marzo de 2020.
