"We will do everything in our power to develop academic ties between France and Chile"
On Thursday, June 14, a meeting took place at the CRUCH offices between the French Ambassador, Marc Giacomini, and the CRUCH International Relations Committee, chaired by the rector of the Austral University, Víctor Cubillos.
At the meeting, it was decided to constitute a working group between representatives of international relations of the CRUCh and a representative of the Embassy to seek financing alternatives to favor the mobility of undergraduate students, both Chilean and French, in the areas of engineering and agronomy. .
The French ambassador said that in his action plan academic exchanges are key, “We must seek a new impulse, and from this point of view exchanges between students, academics and researchers are a very important element. We will do everything in our power to develop these types of ties ”.
For her part, María Teresa Marshall, Executive Director of CRUCH, expressed the intention of finding all possible ways for Chilean students to benefit. "We do not need more signatures of agreement, we must coordinate and promote as actively as possible to offer mobility opportunities to our students."
