Eight universities joined the PSU admissions system.

Starting this year, students must take the University Selection Test (PSU) to enter 33 universities in the country.

Eight were the private universities that agreed to adhere to the PSU admissions system employed by the traditional Cuts Council universities.

The schools that joined are: Alberto Hurtado University, Diego Portales University, Adolfo Ibáñez University, Los Andes University, Development University, Finis Terrae University, Mayor University and Andrés Bello University.
On June 6, representatives of these eight universities met with technical specialists from Demre, to gain an in-depth knowledge of and implement the technical procedures of the 2012 admission process.
